EIN Wins 1999 Momentum Award at @d:Tech Europe
PRAGUE, June 8 - The European Internet Network, Inc. (EIN), one of Europe's
fastest growing Internet media companies, today announced it received a
"Momentum Award" at this year's @d:Tech Europe conference in Amsterdam.
EIN and its online publications - Central Europe Online
(www.centraleurope.com), Russia Today (www.russiatoday.com) and Inside China
Today (www.insidechina.com) - was recognized for its achievements in
Europe's growing Internet industry.
On June 3, 1999, ChannelSeven.com in association with Pulse Interactive,
Channel Seven Europe, and @d:tech.Europe hosted the Momentum Awards Europe
in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Seven Momentum Awards went to "the most
innovative, accomplished individuals and companies in the European Internet
industry". This was the first Momentum Awards celebration in Europe,
honoring the people, organizations, and companies that represent leadership
and advancement on the Internet.
The celebration included 700+ Internet executives from around the world and
was designed to encourage collaboration across nations and heightening
recognition of outstanding achievement in the European Internet Industry.
The organizers of the Momentum Awards Europe said of EIN "your company's
outstanding commitment to furthering the growth of Europe's Internet economy
clearly deserves industry wide acknowledgement".
